We joyfully acknowledge and celebrate Br. Ashwin Solomon, whose remarkable AI and artistic talents were at the heart of the creative works prepared for the Beatification of Mother Eliswa Vakayil.

Energized and guided by the inspiration of the Blessed, Br. Ashwin singlehandedly designed the coffee table book and related artistic paraphernalia that beautifully portrayed the life and legacy of Mother Eliswa. His portrait of the Blessed was chosen as the official image for her cenotaph, a profound recognition of both his artistry and devotion.

The coffee table book, with its exquisite illustrations and spiritual depth, has been widely acclaimed by Carmelite superiors, experts and scholars as a true portal into the sanctified life of the Blessed Foundress.

During the Beatification Ceremony at the Shrine Basilica of Vallarpadam, the Archdiocese of Verapoly and the Congregation of the Teresian Carmelites accorded Br. Ashwin a unique honour — to present his work and share the inspiration behind it before the hierarchy and the faithful gathered there.

The book, gifted to various ecclesial dignitaries attending the celebration, stands as a lasting tribute to Blessed Mother Eliswa and a testimony to the inspired creativity and dedication of Br. Ashwin Solomon.
